Q. What happens if it rains, will the fireworks go on?

A. In the event of a storm, the Festival Board and Power Squadron will make the decision as to whether or not the fireworks can still go off. If the threat of lightening is present, we may shoot the fireworks earlier in the night or postpone until Sunday evening. We know festival goers love this awesome fireworks display, but a barge in the lake filled with explosives poses a few liability risks that may change the timing of the fireworks. Safety is always our first priority.

Q. Can I bring my dog?

A. The Festival follows the rules of Surfside Park which state, “no pets allowed in the park”.
