Q. Does it cost anything?
A. NOPE it’s a free community event.
Q. Will there be parking?
A. There is free parking on neighborhood streets and in designated lots around the venue site. There will be a free shuttle bus picking guests up from various designated shuttle stops.
Q. When and where are the free shuttle buses?
A. Shuttle buses will run Friday from 5pm until 12:30am and Saturday from 8:30am-12:30am and will be stopping at the main parking ramp next to Mound True Value on Shoreline Drive. Stay tuned for details as we work around the local road construction.
Q. Will food be served?
A. Yes, there is a wonderful food court with many options! Check out our food court tab for more details.
Q. What happens if it rains, will the fireworks go on?
A. In the event of a storm, the Festival Board and Power Squadron will make the decision as to whether or not the fireworks can still go off. If the threat of lightening is present, we may shoot the fireworks earlier in the night or postpone until Sunday evening. We know festival goers love this awesome fireworks display, but a barge in the lake filled with explosives poses a few liability risks that may change the timing of the fireworks. Safety is always our first priority.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. The Festival follows the rules of Surfside Park which state, “no pets allowed in the park”.
