Parade staging area is Highland Park area, just south/southwest of Surfside Park. Enter neighborhood on Oaklawn Lane starting at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers will direct you from there. Parade start is 10 a.m. Please be ready to go on time to prevent gaps. Route map can be found online at www.spiritofthelakes.com
Entry fee is $50 if completed before July 1, $75 afterwards, $25 for each additional unit. Fee waived for non-profit entries submitted before July 1, $25 afterwards.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: In consideration of the right to participate in the parade, I, and any others with me, release the Spirit of the Lakes Festival Board and their employees or agents or affiliates from any known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgments and/or claims including, without limitation, property damage to my parade unit and personal injury, however the forgoing may occur and regardless of how it may occur, recognizing that I, and any other accompanying me on or about my parade unit, specifically assume any and all said risks. Further, each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify all of the foregoing entities, and persons from any and all liabilities resulting from the conduct of entrants, spectators, or any participant assisting or cooperating with entrant and under direction or control of entrant. OPERATION: The Spirit of the Lakes Festival Board of Directors, and their employees or agents. We reserve the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities. Behavior deemed unacceptable by any hosting entities will subject entrant to removal.
