The festival is being held at Surfside Park and Beach in Mound, MN at Bartlett and Commerce Blvd (5801 Bartlett Blvd; Mound MN 55364)
The Festival is a free community event. Meet Your Maker is a separately ticketed event and tickets should be purchased online in advance. Some kids activities request a donation and there is food for purchase.
There is free parking in designated lots around the venue and on neighborhood streets. There will be a free shuttle bus picking guests up from various designated shuttle stops.
Shuttle buses will run Thursday from 5:30-9:30pm, Friday from 4:30–11:30pm, and Saturday from 8:00am – 11:30pm. Shuttles will stop at the main parking ramp next to Mound True Value on Shoreline Drive, Shirley Hills Elementary School parking lot on Wilshire Blvd and Mt Olive Lutheran Church parking lot on Bartlett Blvd.
What’s a festival without food?! There is a wonderful food court with many options for purchase!
In the event of a storm, the Festival Board and Power Squadron will make the decision as to whether or not the fireworks can still go off. If the threat of lightning is present, we may shoot the fireworks earlier in the night or postpone until Sunday evening. We know festival goers love the awesome Jay Soule Memorial Fireworks Show, but a barge filled with explosives poses a few liability risks that may change the timing of the fireworks. Safety is always our first priority.
The Festival follows the rules posted on the grounds at Surfside Park and Beach.
